Class

I created this piece taking classes at Bitspace, working to refine my woodworking and 3D printing skills. One of the products I created is a wooden desk and paper organizer I needed to keep my workspace clean. I sawed several pieces of wood from plywood and MDF wood, then painted a piece of MDF wood and sealed the plywood with a transparent sealant. I then designed and laser cut a pattern on a piece of MDF wood and drilled the different pieces together to create a book and paper desk holder. I used laser cutting to engrave different words into the organizer and utilized AutoCAD to experiment with different depth cuts and densities. Working with the software and tools allowed me to explore wood and plastic mediums.
